Athletics at St. George’s

“I believe we have the proper perspective on athletics. We think students learn certain things playing sports that they won't learn anywhere else in terms of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship. It’s an extension of what we do in the classroom.“

In our 42-0 victory over Rivers at Friday Night Lights, Matt was a triple-threat, assisting in the shutout by contributing five tackles and a fumble recovery on defense, performing perfectly in his long snapping duties on special teams, and catching a pass for 5 yards, gaining 31 yards on a reverse for a big first down, and blocking well on offense.

Riley has been an incredibly hard working and positive member of the team. She is a vocal supporter of the back line and has made several important saves. She helped hold the 1-1 score against Lawrence Academy last weekend. After playing our game, she then went up to Varsity to support them and quickly adjusted to the faster pace of the game. Thank you Riley for your hard work and dedication to the team.
